Westbrook Boys’ Hoops won HK; The hockey team gives up a couple of competitions

Boys basketball

The Westbrook boys basketball team split two games last week and set their record for the year at 4-5.

In the first game of the week, Westbrook lost a 68-42 loss to East Hampton 18. January. Three days later, the Knights hosted Haddam-Killingworth and took a 61-45 win over Cougars.

Hockey for boys

The Southington-Coginchaug-Westbrook (SCW) hockey team lost two games last week and is now 0-7.

On January 19, SCW won a 4-1 road loss against Newtown-New Fairfield at the Danbury Ice Arena. Two days later, the team faced the road to New Milford and won a 5-1 loss to Canterbury School.
