Manchester United are in talks to borrow Jesse Lingard and Donny van de Beek after Anthony Martial has vowed to join Seville for the rest of the season.
Negotiations with Newcastle continued on Tuesday over Lingard’s deal that the club’s Saudi owners would pay the loan and a substantial bonus if they stay up and cover his £ 100,000 a week.
After rejecting bids from the top four rivals Tottenham and West Ham, United is believed to have accepted Lingard’s move to Tyneside when he spoke with interim manager Ralf Rangnick of Dubai, where the player has been at the start of the winter break.

Lingard is due to end his 21-year partnership with United in the summer when he leaves Old Trafford as a free agent and does not want to spend the remaining five months of his contract in the role.
The 29-year-old England national player has only started two games this season under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Rangnick, and he desperately wants to get back on Gareth Southgate’s team ahead of this year’s World Cup.
Lingard wants to join Newcastle because he had enjoyed a successful loan in West Ham last year and is still frustrated with United’s reluctance to let him go this month.
