Florida Football Recruitment: Three-Star DE Jack Pyburn Commits to Gators at Auburn, Miami

Florida added a strong defensive game to its 2022 recruiting class on Tuesday when three-star defensive lineman Jack Pyburn chose Gators straight at CBS Sports headquarters. Pyburn chose the state of Gators instead of Auburn and Miami.

Pyburn is a solid addition to first-year head coach Billy Napier’s first recruitment class in Florida. His commitment will give Napier the country’s 19th recruiting class after starting the day among the top 25. Pyburn joins four-star potential Chris McClellan and Jamari Lyons as the group’s main line of defense.

Weighing in at 6 feet 3 and weighing 265 pounds, Pyburn is ranked 437th in the industry standard 247Sports Composite and is the 36th edge defender.

In addition to playing defensive for the state championship in his high school competing for the state, Pyburn was ranked among the best wrestlers in the state in the £ 220 rating. Andrew Ivins, an analyst at 247Sports Southeast Recruiting, received this Pyburn research report:
