Table tennis prepares team to attend world cup

The Dominican Table Tennis Federation (Fedoteme) is the concentration work of the players that will make up the national teams for various events, including the World Championship, in China.

The trainings are carried out in the Pavilion of the Discipline in the Parque del Este, reported by Dr. Daniel Landrón, President of the Fedoteme, who pointed out that the concentration has as its objective the preparation of the Athletes who will represent the country in the superior tournament of that sport and the world Championship that will take place. will take place this year in the city of Chengdu, China, from April 17 to 26 next.

In addition to the superior team, there is also the concentrated youth team that will be present at the Caribbean Championship to be held in Cuba and which is a Qualifier for the Pan-American tournament and the 2022 World Cup.

The president of Fedoteme explained that those selected are being gathered on weekends with the coaching staff from 9:00 in the morning from Friday. to the Ministry of Sports, the Committee Olímpico Dominicano and Grupo Creando Sueños Olímpico for their support in table tennis initiatives in the Dominican Republic.

“N that covers the physical aspect and the techniques of the game,” said Dr. Landrón.

Among the players participating in the concentration are Samuel Gálvez, Abit Ronaldo Tejada, Isaac Vila, Eduardo Darley and Ramón Vila, as well as such as Esmerlyn Castro, Shary Muñoz, Dahyana Rojas, Rosa Torres and Estefany Rodríguez, among others.
