Rohit Sharma-led India National Cricket Team won the three-match T20 International series against the Dasun Shanaka-led Sri Lanka National Cricket Team by 3-0.
India won the first match of the series convincingly by defeating Sri Lanka by a huge margin of 62 runs at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow, with the help of an amazing Bowling performance and Incredible performance of top-order batting unit, which consisted of Rohit Sharma, Ishan Kishan and Shreyas Iyer.

Rohit Sharma and co. won the second match by 7 wickets at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, Dharamsala with the help of an amazing batting performance of middle-order batsman Shreyas Iyer and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja.
Meanwhile, India once again dominated in the third match against Sri Lanka despite making as many as four changes to the team.
Sri Lanka’s top-order batting unit failed to Survive against the India Bowling unit in the match but in the end, Sri Lanka Skipper Dasun Shanaka played a terrific knock and added 86 * runs off 47 runs with Chamika Karunaratne to help Sri Lanka score 146 / 5.
In the last 5 five overs, Sri Lanka scored 68 runs at a run rate of 13.60. Skipper Dasun Shanaka scored 74 runs off 38 balls including 9 fours and 2 sixes and he batted with a strike rate of 194.73.
Chasing the target, Captain Rohit Sharma opened the innings with wicketkeeper-batsman Sanju Samson. Rohit was once again dismissed by pacer Dushmantha Chameera in T20Is and this was the 6th time Sri Lanka was able to pick the wicket of the Indian Captain.
Sanju Samson also got out after scoring 18 runs off 12 balls. Lahiru Kumara dismissed Deepak Hooda in the 11th over with a deadly Yorker and he was able to score 21 runs.
In the end, Shreyas Iyer smashed Sensational 73 runs to help India win the game by 6 wickets and the series by 3-0.
Notably, Rohit Sharma has been undefeated since becoming a full-time Captain of the Indian team and this was India’s 12th consecutive win in the T20 International Cricket.
