“We are thrilled to be selected as an at-large to yet another NCAA Championship,” Head Coach Jen Hyde said. “The road to today’s selection has not been an easy one for this Squad. At one point in the season we were playing with four players in the lineup and yet Somehow found our way as the semester lengthened and as the season lengthened, and created opportunities to advance. I’m abundantly proud of our squad and staff for taking things to this point – this year perhaps more than any other in recent history. We’ll fine-tune a few things in the next couple of days and get ourselves ready for a weekend in Gainesville. ”

FSU has now made the NCAA Tournament in each of the last five seasons, which excludes the 2019-20 season when the tournament was canceled. The Seminoles have also reached the NCAA Elite Eight in two of the last three tournaments (2018 and 2021). The NCAA postseason bid is also the 13th in the program’s last 15 years.
