Canada West announces 2022 Field Hockey schedule

VANCOUVER Canada West Women’s Field Hockey Returns for the 2022 season on September 17 when the UBC Thunderbirds open up a new campaign with a two-game road trip to face the Calgary Dinos.

Back to a regular format for the first time since the 2019 season, the T-Birds will head on the road for their first four games of the season with a trip to Victoria September 24 and 25 before returning back to Vancouver for their home opener the following weekend against the Dinos.

The ‘Birds will close out the regular season with a pair of home games against the Vikes October 22 and 23.

The top team at the end of the eight-game regular season will be crowned Canada West Champions and will have the right to host the U SPORTS National Championship November 3-7.
