CORAL SPRINGS, Florida The 2021-22 WGCA All-American Scholar Team was announced on July 5 with a total of 1,485 Women’s Collegiate Golfers recognized with this prestigious honor. For Ithaca College, two members of the team were honored as Rheanna DeCrow and Cristea Park made the list.
The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50.
DeCrow, a rising sophomore from Bettendorf, Iowa, is majoring in Journalism at Ithaca. In her first season with the program, DeCrow played in 14.5 rounds and averaged 85.8 strokes. Her low 18-hole round of 78 came on September 4 in St. Lawrence, which she ended up finishing with a 157 over the two days to place 11th.
Park is majoring in clinical health studies and is a rising senior from Blue Bell. Pa. She was a second-team honoree in the Liberty League this past spring with a sixth place finish after a two-round total of 163. Park fired a 36-hole low of 152 during the fall as she carded a 78 and 74 at St. Lawrence. Park finished 2021-22 with an 81.8 scoring average.
