Brackets for the Tigers’ Regional Tennis Tournament on Friday and Saturday – Canon City Daily Record

The Tiger Tennis team will begin the regional tennis Playoffs Friday morning at the City Park courts in Pueblo. Nine teams will compete at seven positions for the chance to qualify for the CHSAA state championships next week.

Colorado Springs Coronado and Fountain Valley and Denver South will join Caon City and the five Pueblo teams in the action. Only two will advance at each of the seven positions. Saturdays action will be the third place and Championship matches.

The Tigers first round matches are No. 1 singles senior Caleb Pavlicek vs. Pueblo South; Well. 2 singles senior Brandon Chavez vs. Coronado; Well. 3 singles senior Jaksyn McGuire vs. Denver South; Well. 1 doubles a freshmen duo of Eric Chavez and Micha Paschall vs. Denver South; Well. 2 doubles a senior duo of Ayden Masse and Gavin Rivas vs. Coronado; Well. 3 doubles another freshmen duo of Blake Chambers and Dustin Taylor vs. Pueblo East; Well. 4 doubles sophomore Jonas Peterson and freshman Gavin Balch vs. Fountain Valley.

Colorado Springs Coronado and Denver South hold the top two seeds at each position.
