Rutgers’ football program dismissed its Offensive Coordinator Sean Gleeson on Sunday, the school announced. Tight ends Coach Nunzio Campanile will serve as the interim Offensive Coordinator and quarterbacks coach, Coach Greg Schiano said.

“This was a difficult decision, but I believe it is in the best interest of our program to make a change at offensive coordinator,” Schiano said in a statement. “I want to thank Sean for his hard work and wish him and his family all the best in their future endeavours.”

The Scarlet Knights are 0-3 in the Big Ten (3-3 overall) and are coming off three straight losses, most recently to Nebraska (14-13) on Friday in which the team struggled to move the ball.
