Lily Santi Named Atlantic 10 Field Hockey Offensive Player of the Week

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. Saint Joseph’s junior forward Lily Santi was named the Atlantic 10 Field Hockey Offensive Player of the Week, the league office announced on Monday afternoon.

Santi netted her first career hat trick on Sunday as the Hawks cruised past Saint Louis, 5-0. She converted a pair of penalty stroke opportunities in the game and then closed out the scoring with her third of the day and 12^th of the season as the Hawks moved to 5-0 in league play.

The Oceanport, New Jersey, native previously earned Player of the Week honors on August 22 and October 3. Santi is currently tied for the league lead in both goals and assists (six); her 30 points put her alone atop the Leaderboard in that category.

Santi and the ninth-ranked Hawks head to Davidson on Friday before visiting #1 North Carolina on Sunday.
