Womens Tennis Ready for ITA Ohio Valley Regional in Knoxville

CHATTANOOGA — Following the men’s action last week, the Chattanooga Mocs Women’s tennis team is ready for its turn to compete at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Ohio Valley Regional that takes place October 19-23 in Knoxville, Tennessee.

The event will be held between the University of Tennessee and Tyson Park facilities. Matches held at the University of Tennessee will feature live streaming and live results.

“The ladies are excited to compete at the ITA Regionals at the University of Tennessee,” said head Coach Chad Camper.

“The best players in the region come in to compete. This team can do great things but it’s a team effort and hoping to pull together some quality wins this week.”

Singles action in the main draw of 256, for UTC athletes, starts Tomorrow at 11:30 am ET when Nicole Abel takes is Laura Greb of the University of Dayton. UTC doubles action in the main draw of 64 kicks off at 10 am ET with the duos of Abel/Lucia Garrigues-Melendez and Caroline Gibbens/Jessie Young kicking things off.
