Legends League Cricket appoints Simon Taufel as Head of Match Ethics and Regulations

New Delhi: Legends League Cricket has announced the appointment of Simon Taufel as its League’s Head of Match Ethics and Regulations.

Taufel is a well-known cricket match official who has officiated at numerous international cricket matches in various formats and served as an elite umpire panel for the International Cricket Council (ICC). He has also worked as the ICC’s Referee Performance and Training Manager.

The former Australian referee supports the LLCT20 Technical Committee in drafting operational documents such as playing conditions and codes of conduct. He helps increase professionalism by organizing a pre-tournament workshop for match referees. According to the statement published by the LLC, he also supports the board in tournament operations.

Taufel said: “I am very excited to be part of the Legends League Cricket family. It is a significant opportunity to support the league in furthering its goals of competitive integrity and match delivery. We want the legends of the game and fans of their skills to enjoy it and my my job is to support the referees and the League in promoting this focus.”
