Sanju Samson has not been a regular in the Indian cricket team despite some good performances in the past few months. As Samson has been consistently left out of the team, the Indian team management often receives criticism from fans for not giving him a chance. The Irish Cricket Board reportedly made Simson an offer to join their team recently, according to stories that have emerged.
After today, Kishan’s team management will have enough reason to avoid Sanju. Instead, no one will question why he didn’t choose her. _ feel really bad for him _#Sanjusamson #INDvsBAN pic.twitter.com/qieFX1MitR

According to Insidesports, the Irish government assured Samson that if he were to move to the country to continue his cricket career, he would play in every game. However, Samson declined the offer and said that he would never consider playing for another country at the international level as he wants to represent India. Had he accepted the offer, the 28-year-old would have had to cut all ties with the BCCI and the Indian Premier League.
Samson was left out of India’s squad for the T20 World Cup in 2022. He was also not selected for the 2022 Asia Cup. Samson was recently not picked for the Indian team’s three-match ODI series against nemesis Bangladesh. Although he was part of the squad for the ODI series against New Zealand, he was not given a single game.
Throughout the three-match ODI series against South Africa, Samson seemed to hit well. He came close to giving India victory in the first ODI, which the Men in Blue lost. Samson helped India edge closer to victory in the first ODI with an unbeaten 86 runs. In the remaining two one-day internationals against South Africa, he scored 30 not out and 2 runs. India won the series 2-1.
