Arch Manning highlights 32 five-stars ahead of 2022 signing day

The 247Sports recruiting and scouting team released its updated 2023 rankings this week, featuring 32 five-star prospects for this recruiting cycle, led by New Orleans quarterback Isidore Newman and Texas Longhorns football commitment. The number reflects the first-round picks of each NFL draft.

Those 32 five stars, notes 247Sports national recruiting analyst Gabe Brooks, don’t necessarily guarantee five-star status at the end of the period in about eight weeks.

Players could move up and down the 32, possibly fall out of the 32, or possibly miss out as current high-level prospects knock on the five-star door. The final 32 five-star signings arrive in late January before the traditional National Signing Day in February.
