A nurse scores a late goal, Canada’s women’s hockey team beats the USA

HENDERSON, Nev. (AP) Sarah Nurse scored less than five minutes into the game and Canada beat the United States 3-2 on Thursday night after losing the first three games of the seven-game Rivalry series.

Moments after missing a chance on the power play, Canada grabbed the lead when Nurse fired from a bad angle beyond the goal line to beat goalkeeper Maddie Rooney.
