• WTT series is the official professional table tennis event series where the best players in the world face each other in different category tournaments throughout the year, with four Grand Smashes as the ultimate prize.
• The six Star Contender events pit 48 men and women against each other in their respective singles main draws, with the top 30 world rankings eligible to play, four of which must be ranked in the world’s top 20.
• Star Contender events also offer a 16-team doubles main draw and an eight-team mixed doubles main draw. Eight qualifiers in singles and four in singles also qualify for the scrap with the best, and there are also enough wild cards for the host countries in both singles and doubles.
