COLUMBUS, OhioWell. The No. 3 Ohio State women’s basketball team (13-0, 2-0 B1G) travels to Northwestern (6-5, 0-1 B1G) on Wednesday night for a tip-off on BTN at 9 p.m. ET.

• Ohio State has a 13-0 overall record and is off to a 2-0 start in conference play. Last Wednesday, the Buckeyes earned their third win of the season with an 84-67 victory over No. 16/15 Oregon.
• Rebeka Mikulikov led the OSU offense with 27 points, while Taylor Mikesell had 25 points on 10-of-13 (.769) shooting, including 5-of-7 (.714) from beyond the arc. Taylor Thierry rounded out Ohio State’s double-digit scorers with 14 points.
• Rikki Harris had a career-high eight assists as the team tied for a season-high 26 assists.
• Northwestern enters the game with a 6-5 overall record and 0-1 in conference play.
• The Wildcats’ December 22 home game against Chicago State was postponed due to inclement weather. NW’s last game was a win against Air Force on the 17th. December by a margin of 64-58.
• The Buckeyes are the fourth-ranked opponent Northwestern will face this season, having previously lost to No. 20 Oregon, No. 9 Notre Dame and No. 17 Michigan.
• Ohio State leads the all-time series against Northwestern 45-21 and is 19-13 when facing the Wildcats in Evanston.
• The teams met just once last season, with the Buckeyes taking a 74-61 road win on January 9, 2022. In that game, Jacy Sheldon led all players with 20 points, including 7-of-8 free throws. line. Rebeka Mikulikov (16) and Taylor Mikesell (13) also reached double figures and returned to the Buckeye roster for the 2022-23 season.
