Calling all tennis and pickleball players

AB Tennis is hosting the Courts for a Cause event on the 4th-5th. February to benefit the Westchase Charitable Foundation.

The tournament is held here in Westchase at the Countryway Swim & Tennis Center and features both tennis and pickleball, allowing more community members to participate.

The tennis series includes men’s doubles, women’s doubles and mixed doubles. Pickleball divisions include beginner and intermediate (any combination of men, women or mixed) and advanced (men and women).

The tournament entry fee is $85 per player, which includes:

  • Tennis or Pickleball access
  • 2 guaranteed matches
  • Tournament t-shirt
  • Continental breakfast and lunch on Saturday
  • Ticket to Saturday night party (6-9pm) food, beer/wine, raffle, silent auction and expo match

There is also a Saturday night only option for $35 which includes a ticket to the Saturday night party with food, beer/wine, raffle, silent auction and expo match.

Matches begin at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 4 at the Westchase Swim & Tennis Center, 10405 Countryway Blvd. The event is organized by a team of volunteers so that all proceeds directly benefit the Westchase Charitable Foundation (WCF).

WCF is a public charity and registered 501(c)3 that helps families with seriously ill children and families who have faced tragedy. It improves the quality of life in our community. It is a volunteer organization made up of Westchase residents who raise funds through various events throughout the year. One hundred percent of the net income from its events goes directly to families in need of our support. Since WCF’s inception in 2004, nearly $700,000 has been distributed to neighbors in need.
