The future of field hockey in the Central Bucks school district shone brightly on a beautiful, sunny fall day on the turf of War Memorial Stadium.
Student-athletes from both the CB East and CB West field hockey teams came together again this year for the annual Field Hockey Clinic fundraiser “East Meets West”. The young women from these competing teams came together to share their love of the game and pass on their passion for playing, sharing their skills, training and lots of fun to the younger generations of local athletes.
Over 100 participants in grades 1-8 enjoyed instruction and play from both teams’ coaches and several top and nationally ranked high school athletes. Everyone received a T-shirt and goodie bag, as well as discounts, coupons and incentives from local sponsors who helped make the day possible and a success for everyone.
