MALIBU, California #10 The Pepperdine women’s tennis program has bolstered its roster with the addition of graduate transfers Anna Bell to the team before the 2023 dual season.
Campana, younger sister of current Wave Carolyn Campana, comes to Malibu from Wake Forest, where the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) ranked him as high as #75 for the 2022 season. The Hillsborough, California native primarily played the #2 position and was an ITA Scholar-Athlete. In 2021, Campana ranked as high as 21st nationally and was a mainstay for the Demon Deacons. In his COVID-shortened 2019–2020 season, Campana went 19–6 overall in singles, including a 7–3 record in duals, and was ranked #82 in singles by the ITA.
The Waves begin the dual season on Sunday, January 22nd with a road game at #12 California. The first serving is planned at 1:00 p.m.
