Jordan Poole and Klay Thompson are probably under scrutiny from both NBA pundits and fans, and before Warriors superstar Steph Curry suffered a shoulder injury.

The A dramatic 122-119 loss for the Warriors For the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday, there was proof of that, especially for Poole, who made Du Nations angry again for another delayed turnover. Both coaches Steve Kerr and Thompson defended him stronglyand he had 24 points, six assists and five rebounds.

Likewise, Thompson’s inconsistent play early in the season got the NBA talking, as Charles Barkley said he is not the same player anymore. Thompson silenced the critics a monster 54 point performance Golden State beat the Atlanta Hawks 143-141 in double overtime on Monday.

Caller Bill Simmons likes what he saw from Thompson during his time away from the Splash Brothers, as Curry exclusively told NBC Sports Bay Area that he is coming back from his shoulder injury.

“I thought Klay really found his footing in the last 15, 20 games,” Simmons said on the latest Bill Simmons Podcast. And not having Steph’s security blanket is sometimes a good thing. Klay has looked really good.

Poole has been more in the mix, but Simmons believes the high usage will be valuable to the growing Splash cousin.

I think the last three games he had at least one massive layup in the last minute of every game, Simmons reflected. But on the other hand, he had a lot of balls for good and bad. And when he returns, he will be demoted to sixth man and play 25 minutes a game. I think all the experiences he had were good.

Curry as reported by NBC Sports Bay Area that Pooles’ next step is to be a consistent every-night type of guy with heavy minutes and high expectations and dealing with the best defenders.

Now that Currys is back immediately, the Warriors will look to bolster their rotation. Simmons still believes the Warriors and Denver Nuggets are the teams to beat in the Western Conference.

If the Splash trio can find their form, another deep playoff run for the Warriors title defense is all but certain.
