Flashes Take is a First Road MAC game

Miami, oh – The Kent State men’s basketball team (11-3) will play conference play on the road against the Miami University Redhawks (6-8).

In the last five games against the Redhawks, the Flashes have won. The last time the teams battled was in Cleveland, Ohio for the MAC tournament. The Flashes beat the Redhawks 85-75 and Malique Jacobs recorded a game-high 21 points and three assists.

Scouting Miami University Redhawks

The Miami University Redhawks men’s basketball team (6-8) returns home after opening conference play with a loss at Central Michigan University. The Redhawks are currently 5-4 at home and 0-1 in MAC play.

In their most recent game against Chippewa, they tied for the fewest points scored in a game with 56 points and shot just 34 percent from the field. To make up for the low percentage, they were able to dominate in other areas with their 20 points on goal and 17 second chance points.

Redhawks forward Anderson Mirambeaux left his mark last game with his first double-double of the season with 18 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Mekhi Larry is looking to redeem himself after scoring just 7 points in the last game.
