Women’s Tennis Ready Spring Slate Women’s Tennis Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets

APARTMENTS Georgia Tech women’s tennis announced its spring on Friday, and the Yellow Jackets are poised to open 2023 at the Carolina Kickoff next week. The spring calendar features nine home matches at the Ken Byers Tennis Complex, including six Atlantic Coast Conference matches.

The action kicks off with the final tune-up before the doubleheader at the Carolina Kickoff on the 13th-15th. January, hosted by the University of South Carolina. The Yellow Jackets play their only game at home on January 20th and host rival Georgia State at 4:00 PM before traveling to Berkeley, California for the ITA Kickoff Weekend on the 27th-29th. January. California hosts Georgia Tech, San Diego and Princeton with one seed to advance to the ITA National Team Indoor Championships in February.

After a pair of non-conference road matches, the University of Washington will host the prestigious ITA National Team Indoor Championships, which will showcase the top 16 women’s Division I teams in a four-day tournament from 10-13. February.

Tech returns from Seattle to welcome Gonzaga to the Ken Byers Tennis Complex on Feb. 18 before meeting Georgia in Athens on Feb. 19.

ACC play kicks off with a four-game road trip, but after a long absence from Atlanta, the Yellow Jackets play their next five games at home at North Carolina (March 10), Duke (March 12), Boston College (March 17), Syracuse (March 19) and UCF (March 23).

After hosting the UCF Knights in their final non-conference game, Georgia Tech will play three league games outside of Atlanta before wrapping up ACC play at home and welcoming Florida State on April 14 and Miami on April 16.

The ACC Tennis Championship returns to the Cary Tennis Center in Cary, NC, from the 19th to the 23rd. April. NCAA tournament action kicks off on campus the weekend of May 5 with the first and second rounds.
