The 28th World Table Tennis Championships in Qatar start on Sunday

Doha, January 14 (QNA) – The 28th edition of the Qatar World Table Tennis Championships will begin at Lusail Hall on Sunday and continue until January 30.

The tournament includes three international tournaments: Contender, Feeder and Youth Contender. The best male and female swimmers and world champions participate in the SM series.

The tournament starts tomorrow 15-21. January with the Contender competitions, which involve 190 players from 40 countries, 112 men and 78 women. 13 players from Qatar’s national team will participate. It will be followed by the Feeder tournament on the 22nd-26th. January, in which 130 players from 30 countries will participate. 12 players from Qatar’s national team will participate.

The Youth Contender tournament will be held on the 27th-30th. January, with 88 players from 21 countries participating. There are 20 players from Qatar’s national team.

The Organizing Committee of the Qatar World Table Tennis Championships, headed by Khalil Al Mohannadi, has completed all preparations to host the 28th tournament in the best possible manner. (QNA)
