Wake Forest: Sources tell FootballScoop receivers coach Kevin Higgins is moving to an off-the-field leadership position on the staff overseeing recruiting, personnel and the transfer portal.
Illinois: Bret Bielema is reportedly finalizing a deal to bring Thad Ward back to the staff.
Elmhurst (D-III – IL): The program has announced College of DuPage (JC – IL) offensive coordinator (and former Elmhurst standout quarterback) Joe Furco as OC, Illinois Wesleyan defensive backs coach Dru Richardson as DC and Lincoln Way Central HS (IL) running backs coach. / Run game coordinator Kyle Avaloy as the new offensive line coach. Assistant coach Jim Phelps will also remain on staff, returning for a third season on the staff.
Louisburg (JC – NC): Louisburg College has a position for a Defensive Line Coach. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, coaching the assignment, maintaining the recruiting area, breaking down film and other duties assigned by the head coach. The position includes a secondary duty in residential life (apartment). Compensation includes $1,000 per month, room, board, and benefits. Avila (NAIA – MO): Avila University is officially accepting applications for a full-time Offensive Coordinator position working with the Quarterbacks. You must have previous experience of calling. Western Kentucky: Ole Miss analyst Da’Von Brown, 25, will be WKU’s safeties coach, according to multiple reports.
Ohio Northern (D-III): Ohio Northern University is accepting applications for a merit-restricted position. We are looking for someone with experience in LB or DL coaching. Playing LB or DL is recommended but not required. The position is 10 months long and has its own recruitment area. The compensation includes a scholarship, housing and part of the meals. Sacred Heart (FCS): Sources tell FootballScoop that Oregon recruit Nigel Madison will join the defensive staff.
Delaware (FCS): Rocco DiMeco has joined the staff as the linebacker coach and will also assist with the team’s special teams. DiMeco comes to UD after spending the 2022 season as the special teams coordinator and linebackers coach at Long Island University (FCS – NY).
Juniata (D-III – PA): Juniata College is seeking candidates for a full-time Assistant Football Coach/Defensive Coordinator position. This position will assist the Head Football Coach in all aspects of the program including but not limited to: Coaching all aspects of the defense; Position group coaching; Preparation and planning of games and practices; Scouting and video surveillance; Recruiting qualified student-athletes; and academic monitoring of student-athletes. Southeastern Oklahoma State (D-II): Karson Green has accepted the offensive line/recruiting coordinator role, per source. Green has made previous stops at Central Oklahoma, UMASS and SWOSU.
LA chargers: Former Cowboys offensive coordinator Kellen Moore is expected to be the new offensive coordinator on Brandon Staley’s staff.
Lycoming (D-III – PA): Lycoming College is seeking candidates for the position of Offensive Coordinator. This position is part of the full-time Assistant Football Coaching staff, specializing specifically as an Offensive Coordinator. Norfolk State (FCS – VA): Lamont Butler has accepted the defensive line coach position at Norfolk State, according to sources. Butler previously served as defensive coordinator at Concordia-Chicago (D-III – IL).
Campbellsville (NAIA – KY): Campbellsville University has an immediate opening for a wide receivers coach. This is a full-time job. Must demonstrate successful coaching and college recruiting experience. You must have a university degree and the character to work in a Christian university. Calls are not accepted. Detroit Lions: Dan Graziano of ESPN reports that Cardinals tight ends coach Steve Heiden will join Detroit in the same role. Heiden had been with the Cardinals since 2013 in various roles.
Bethany (NAIA – KS): Chance Clatterbuck has accepted the assistant offensive line coaching job with the Swedes after spending the last two years at Salina South HS (KS). Prior to that, he was the linebacker coach at Perry HS in Gilbert, AZ.
Arizona Cardinals: The team has requested an interview with Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan for the head coaching position, Tom Pelissero tweeted.
LaGrange (D-III-GA): The longtime Division III coordinator is LaGrange’s new head coach.
Kansas: Quentin Carter, who was an assistant on Nebraska’s staff last season, has accepted the same role with the Jayhawks.
Yuba (JC – CA): Mike Pomfret has accepted the head coaching job at Yuba College. Pomfret previously served as linebacker/run game coordinator at Allan Hancock College (Santa Maria, CA).
Arizona Cardinals: The organization has asked to interview Bengals defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo for the head coaching job.
Kansas: Zac Barton, who spent the last five seasons at Kent State as the special teams coordinator/head tight ends coach, will join the staff as a special teams analyst, Adam Rittenberg tweeted.
Virginia: Sources confirm to FootballScoop that senior analyst Adam Mims is expected to be promoted to the wide receiver spot. Matt Zenitz has tweeted the same.

South Alabama: Former Southern Miss head coach Jay Hopson will reportedly join the staff as cornerbacks coach.
LA chargers: Former Cowboys offensive coordinator Kellen Moore is expected to talk to the Chargers about their offensive coordinator opening, according to Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero.
Dallas Cowboys: Kellen Moore will not return as offensive coordinator. His replacement is already in the building.

UTEP: Sources tell FootballScoop that an offensive coordinator change is coming at UTEP.
Colorado: Deion Sanders confirmed over the weekend that both former Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer and former FAU head coach Willie Taggart will both join him in Colorado. Zimmer spent last season on Jackson State’s staff in an analyst role, and both have been previously reported.
South Georgia: Georgia Southern is looking to add an offensive lineman to work with the offensive line. The position is to be filled immediately. Interested candidates can send their materials to [email protected].
