The Oregon State Beavers will hold their annual spring football scrimmage on Saturday, April 22 at Reser Stadium, serving as the finale of spring practice.

The start time for the public scrimmage has not been confirmed as it will be coordinated with the Pac-12 Network.

Oregon State opens the first of 15 spring practices on Tuesday, March 7. The Beavers will practice for two weeks, take two weeks off spring break and then resume practice on April 3.

Spring practices, except for scrimmage, are not open to the public.

The most visible battles heading into the spring are at quarterback and defensive secondary. Oregon State signed Clemson transfer DJ Uiagalele, who will compete with returning starter Ben Gulbranson and possibly incoming freshman Aidan Chiles for the quarterback job. OSU’s secondary suffered multiple losses to graduation and early entry into the NFL draft.

Among the spring’s new faces are six recent transfers from FBS programs and seven freshmen who graduated early from high school. The Beavers look to continue their momentum after winning 10 games, including a bowl game, into the 2022 season.
