Virginia Tech football’s 2023 schedule was officially announced Monday night on the ACC Network, and Blacksburg has plenty of momentum heading into year two. Brent Pry era.
Recently signed as a top five recruiting class according to the ACC247 Sportsseven new midfield transfers have been added to the list and six home games await Lane Stadium, including a classic Thursday night contest, to name but a few.

Tech’s home page lists the five teams that played in a bowl game last fall, the 2022 Big Ten West division winner and the fan favorite Thursday night.
The Hokies have three games at Lane Stadium in September. The season opens by hosting Old Dominion (Sept. 2) and then Purdue (Sept. 9) the following weekend. To cap off the month, Tech hosts Pitt (Sept. 30).
Wake Forest (Oct. 14) is the first contest at the Lane in October, followed by an open week, and then the Hokies face Syracuse on Thursday, Oct. 26. It’s Tech’s second straight Thursday night win. in Blacksburg.
Tech’s final home game of the season comes against NC State (Nov. 18), which is senior day.

Current season ticket holders must renew their tickets and Hokie Scholarship Fund gifts by March 1, 2023 to participate in the annual seat upgrade process this spring.

Playing on the road in back-to-back weeks in September, Tech faces Big Ten foe Rutgers (Sept. 16) and then heads to Marshall (Sept. 23).
A trip to Tallahassee awaits the Hokies to begin in October against Florida State (Oct. 7). Then three of their last four games are on the road, including Louisville (Nov. 4), Boston College (Nov. 11) and Virginia (Nov. 25).
SPRING GAME
Late last week, Tech announced that its spring game presented by PMSI will be played on Saturday, April 15 at 3 PM ET on ACC Network Extra. Sign up to be notified when game details are finalized.
