Arizona Falls to Arizona State Final Dual Meet

TEMPE, Ariz. – Arizona Swimming and Diving wrapped up its final dual meet of the regular season today, facing Arizona State on Saturday. The Wildcats won with a final combined score of 434.5146.5.

Regardless of the outcome, Arizona swept all four diving events. Taking the top three places in both the women’s 1m and 3m races was Delaney Fast in the first, Quinn Gariepy in the second and Gracie Sleeman in the third. On the men’s side Björn Market took both first places in the 1m and 3m competitions.

A standout junior Julia Heimstead secured four top-three finishes today, placing second in the women’s 200 back and 400 free relays and third in the 200 free and 200 fly.

The next time the Wildcats play in a pool is the Pac-12 Championships. In addition to diving, the women will compete on Wed 22nd Feb 26th and the men the following week Wed 1st March 5th March. at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center.
