With National Signing Day in the rearview mirror and spring practice approaching, most college football teams around the country are gearing up for this fall. The college football season is nearly seven months away, but the hype around sleeper programs and rivalries is growing.

One of the headlines of college football’s opening weekend is Deion Sanders era in Colorado. The Buffaloes travel to Fort Worth to face the defending national No. 2 in TCU. It marks Sanders’ first game coaching a Power-5 program as a head coach.

This is not the only good match for the opening list. Two other highly anticipated matchups are Florida’s trip out west to face Utah and Florida State and LSU meeting in another neutral site contest. Last season, Florida upset Utah at home and Florida State secured a last-second win over the Tigers to begin its return to glory.
