Men’s tennis falls close to St. Francis Brooklyn

PITTSBURGH —The Duquesne men’s tennis team dropped a close match to St. Francis Brooklyn on Saturday, losing 4-3.

In their first home game of the spring, the Dukes dropped a doubleheader, but the sophomore David Georgadze and junior Tamirlan Teberikov won their match as No. 1 doubles, 6-2.

Alone, parent Jin Dassanayake won his match No. 3, freshman Valentin Vasquez won from 4th place and junior Bode Vance number 5 won.

The men’s team will look to get its first win on Friday, February 10 against Carnegie Mellon.
