UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. The Penn State men’s tennis team (10-1) swept four straight singles courts to defeat William & Mary 5-0 at the Penn State Indoor Tennis Center on Saturday afternoon.

“Wow, what a great weekend! We played two great games, both Friday night and today, Sunday afternoon,” said the head coach. Jeff Zinn. “William and Mary is a quality team. They have a new lineup that they played against us today with a huge player injured. But I think today we battled. We wanted to come out of strong doubles, and we really did. energy and fire. The management of the team really pushed each other to get the first point. It’s been crucial to our success this year. And moving forward, we still have to do that. We have a break coming up. The Nittany Lions secured a double on the first and third pitches.

Malik Bhatnagar and Charles Morgan beat George Davis and Bill Duo 6-1 at No. 1 to earn his eighth doubles win of the season. Miko Eala and Stefan Simeunovic followed by a 6-2 win Alexander Karman and Daniel Pellerito go 5-0 in doubles.

Sam Bossand Loren Byers won 5-2, between number 2 against ​​Joeseph Brailovsky and Andres Silva.

Penn State took the win in four straight.
