UCA tennis sweeps Arkansas Tech in doubleheader

CONWAY, Ark. The University of Central Arkansas tennis program came home and swept a doubleheader with the Arkansas Tech Golden Suns in two hard-fought decisions. UCA gets off to a nice start at home, which lasts for three more weekends.

UCA won doubles in both of their matches Nanoka Kazama and Vichitraporn Vimuktananda and pairing Sumo Hamanaga and Konomi Miyakawa. Those wins secured an early point for UCA and set the tone for both matches. The Bears also got a boost with two wins Nanoka Kazama and Sumo Hamanagaand profit from it Konomi Miyakawa in the second game helped secure the win for UCA. The Bears found a way to get over the .500 mark before tough games.

UCA will face Ouachita Baptist and Oral Roberts next Friday, February 24th^th. The Bears will face the Tigers at 10:00 and the Golden Eagles at 1:30.
