It’s only been a few months since Benzema and Putellas received the Ballon dOr for their achievements in 2021-22, but not to be outdone by France Football, FIFA are now preparing to hand out their own awards.
When are the best FIFA football awards?
The 2022 FIFA Football Awards will be presented in Paris Monday, February 27, 2023, ceremony begins at 3:00 PM ET. For the first time since January 2020, guests will be able to attend the event in person instead of virtually (due to the Covid-19 pandemic, in case you missed it).

Award candidates for the best players, goalkeepers and coaches chose two expert panels one for men’s soccer and one for women’s soccer.
Who will vote for the best in the 2022 FIFA Football Awards?
Media representatives, national team coaches, national team captains and the general public everyone was allowed to vote in each category of The Best FIFA Football Awards, narrowing down the nominees in each category three finalists. Public voting ended on February 3, though you have until the end of Sunday, February 26 vote for the winner of the Best FIFA Fan Award until the day before the ceremony (February 26).
