Griswold, Lopez scored a 9.900 on the floor in a gymnastics loss to Northern Illinois

ST. CHARLES, MO Lindenwood’s gymnastics team fell to Northern Illinois on Sunday at Hyland Arena in St. Charles, Mo. Gayla Griswold and Sydney Lopez each posted a 9.900 on floor as the Lions’ top performer.

– For the Lions, the most profitable events took place in the bars and on the floor. Lindenwood scored 48.975 on each event, with Lopez and Griswold each scoring 9.900 on floor.
-Griswold received a 9.95 nod from one judge on her floor performance on senior day. Griswold also scored a team-best 9.875 on bars.
-Jones led the Lions on bars as her scores of 9.90 and 9.85 gave her a total of 9.875 in the second round. Jones registered a solid floor routine as she scored a 9.800
