SAN FRANCISCO The Pac-12 Conference on Monday announced the final weekly award winners for the 2022-23 season and the Arizona freshman guard Kylan Boswell was named the conference’s best freshman in the final week of the regular season.
In the last two games at USC and No. 4 UCLA over the past two weeks, Boswell averaged 14.0 points, 2.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and shot 75% from the floor. He was 6 of 9 from the 3-point line and also came up with two assists this week.

At UCLA, he played 24 minutes and scored 14 points on 5-of-7 shooting and hit a season-high four 3-pointers in the game. It was the first time this season that Boswell had double-digit wins in back-to-back games.
With Boswell receiving this week’s award, it marks the ninth time since the Freshman of the Week award was established prior to the 2019-20 season that an Arizona player has won the award.
Overall, this is the fourth weekly award for an Arizona player this season Azuolas Tubelis (twice) and Oumar Ballowho received player of the week awards.
