In 30 seconds, Oscar Lynagh managed to collect 12 tennis balls on his head covered in shaving foam to create an unusual world record.

An Australian man has achieved a bizarre Guinness World Record for catching the most table tennis balls on his head covered in shaving foam. According to the official website, a man identified as Oscar Lynagh attempted the record in Melbourne in November last year. For 30 seconds, Lynagh managed to collect 12 balls to his head. It happened on Thursday, March 9, when Guinness officially announced the world record via Twitter, along with a video clip of Oscar Lynagh attempting the challenge.

The video begins with a man sitting on a chair while a woman applies a measured amount of shaving cream to his head. After the process is over, the Aussie man picks up a bowl filled with table tennis balls and stands directly in front of the wall. The man then starts throwing balls one at a time to collect them in the foam mountain. He tries to be as fast as possible but fails a few shots to continue the challenge. When the time is up, the ball is counted to announce the result.

Sharing the world record, the official Guinness Twitter page wrote: New Record: Most Table Tennis Balls Bounced and Caught in Shaving Foam in 30 Seconds (detailed) – by Oscar Lynagh 12. Yes, this is a real record you can try at home. Watch the video here:

The video has garnered over twenty-one thousand views on Twitter, allowing many users to share their responses. One user called it the lite version of Guinness World Records.

Another suggested, someone make a cool whip version!

Another followed suit and set a Guinness World Record for everything these days.

Meanwhile, Twitterati said: If the guy was a real Aussie, he’d do it with golf balls.

Oscar Lynagh reportedly holds several records in his kitty, including the furthest throw of a rubber chicken and the furthest behind-the-back catch of a tennis ball. Although Lynaghs feat was solo, the same challenge was also attempted by a team of two including Davish Rush and Jonathan Hannon. A duo from the United States attempted the challenge in Boise, Idaho, in April 2021. The pair managed to collect a total of 35 tennis balls on their heads in 30 seconds.
