The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) men’s hockey team kept their season alive on Saturday, tying their best-of-three NCHC playoff series with a 5-1 win over St. Cloud State.
St. Cloud scored the game’s opening goal, but UMD’s Carter Loney tied the game in the first period.
Three minutes into the second, Wyatt Kaiser scored for the Bulldogs.
Ben Steeves and Dominic James then scored 16 seconds apart to make it 4-1.
The series will be decided in the third game on Sunday night at 18:00
