It’s been quite the year for Tennessee athletics. The Vol merger finished the season with an 11-2 record, including a huge win over Alabama in October to snap a 15-year win streak. Months later, the Vols knocked off No. 1 Alabama as well.
The Vols won their most impressive game of the season Saturday night, defeating Duke in the 32nd quarter, 65-52. After the game, Vols guard Tyreke Key noted that he actually stormed the court with fans in October when Tennessee cut the pipe over the Tide. To boot, he’s kept his game ticket in his phone case ever since.
Now that’s dedication.

Tennessee advances to the Sweet 16 for the second time under Rick Barnes with a win over the Blue Devils on Saturday. They will face either FAU or FDU next week.
