Pakistan revises New Zealand series schedule | Cricket News

LAHORE: Pakistan reviewed the schedule of limited shifts for next month on Monday cricket series against New Zealand Due to the upcoming elections in the province of Punjab.
The series has been moved back a day and will now start in Lahore on April 14 instead of Karachi.
Two of the series’ three venues – Lahore and Rawalpindi – are in Punjab, where elections are likely to be held from April 30.
“The two boards have unanimously agreed to field five Twenty20 internationals and an equal number of one-day internationals.” Pakistan Cricket Board said in a press release.
The teams will now start in Lahore and play three T20s from 14-17. April, before they travel to Rawalpindi, which will host the remaining two T20s and the first two ODIs from 20-26. April.
Karachi will host the remaining four ODIs from April 30 to May 7.
Revised Pakistan-New Zealand Schedule:
April 14 – 1st T20I, Lahore
15 Apr – 2nd T20I, Lahore
17th April – 3rd T20I, Lahore
20th April – 4th T20I, Rawalpindi
April 24 – Day 5 T20I, Rawalpindi
April 26 – 1st ODI, Rawalpindi
April 30 – 2nd ODI, Karachi
May 3 – 3rd ODI, Karachi
May 5 – 4th ODI, Karachi
May 7 – 5th ODI, Karachi
