Cole and Sisselberger earn Patriot League Weekly Awards

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh men’s lacrosse junior Scott Cole and Fifth Year Mike Sisselberger both earned Patriot League weekly honors, as announced by the league Monday afternoon

This is Sisselberger’s second time this season earning Patriot League Faceoff Specialist of the Week honors and the 11th time of his career. Sisselberger was phenomenal Saturday in Lehigh’s 15-9 win over Lafayette. He went 19-of-22 in the start game “x” while catching 14 groundballs. Sisselberger ranks second in the world (11.12 per game). On Friday, Sisselberger was named an Inside Lacrosse Midseason All-American. He has won 63.3% of his matches this season.

Cole was named Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week after scoring two goals and adding five assists in the win over Lafayette. He recorded six of those points in the second half while being guarded by the Leopards’ best defender. Cole has scored 46 points this season, a junior career high. This is Cole’s first career Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week award.

The Mountain Hawks return to action on April 8 when they travel to Lewisburg, Pa., to face Bucknell at 1 p.m.
