NEWTON, Kan. – The Augustana women’s golf team finished second at the Newman Invitational Monday in Newton, Kansas. The event, hosted by Newman, was completed in one day due to the weather forecast. Molly Stevens was AU’s best, finishing in the top ten.

Molly Stevens was Augustana’s top finisher, finishing tied for ninth. Stevens recorded 72 strokes in the first round and 71 (-1) in the second round for a total of 143 strokes.

Augustana collected a total of 27 birdies and 120 pars in the tournament.
