The former UFC champion apparently praised PSG star Achraf Hakim for the Game Changer divorce

Former UFC champion Henry Cejudo has seemingly praised soccer star Achraf Hakim for his divorce.

Hakimi was all over the headlines last week after it was revealed that he and his wife Hiba Abouk are filing for divorce. When filing for divorce, Abouk tried to get half of the PSG star’s assets. However, it was revealed that none of the 24-year-old’s assets were in his name.

Achraf Hakimi has kept all his assets in his mother’s name, so Hiba Abouk will get nothing from a player who earns around $15 million a year from PSG.

UFC welterweight Kelvin Gastelum reacted to the same on Twitter, suggesting the move was a “game changer.” He said:

“This is a game changer lol.”

Achraf Hakimi divorce: What did the PSG star’s ex-wife say?

Achraf Hakim’s ex-wife Hiba Abouk has finally broken her silence after the divorce. They started dating in 2018 and met while Hakim was playing for German club Borussia Dortmund.

After two years of dating, they decided to tie the knot in 2020. Hakim and Abouk also have two sons, Amin and Naim, born in 2020 and 2022. It was later revealed that the couple had decided to separate before having sex. Allegations of assault by a 24-year-old man.

However, the allegations worsened the situation for Achraf Hakim and his former partner. Now Hiba Abouk has finally broken her silence after their divorce. Although Abouk suggested he now has “peace of mind,” he noted (H/T Daily message):

“When you divorce, you rebuild your life, but it’s also nothing special: you have to take the iron out of it. It’s true that with two children it’s emotionally complicated, but I’m not the first and I won’t be the last. The important thing is that I have it’s the peace of mind that I’ve tried and done everything I needed to do. There are decisions that can’t be made overnight. For me, that’s the starting point of not rushing in a moment of crisis.”
