Wisconsin football landed in the ESPN FPI preseason top 25

Wisconsin football experienced an offseason of change as the Badgers have a completely new coaching staff, a new starting quarterback and new faith heading into the 2023 campaign.

ESPN’s College Football Power Index (FPI for short) annually compiles statistical predictions about how each college football season will play out. The Badgers landed in the top 25 by FPI score, and the Big Ten school topped the list.

The FPI also gives percentages on how likely a team is to win its conference, go to the College Football Playoff and win a national championship.
