Women’s golf: Macalester plays in Rumble at the Ridge

WHITE BEAR Lake, Minn. The Macalester College women’s golf team competed in the Rumble at the Ridge hosted by Bethel University at Oneka Ridge Golf Course. The Scots finished ninth in the one-lap race, which was shortened to two due to weather.

The first year Bailey Lengfelder (Renton, Wash./Hazen) was the Scots’ lowest scorer with 81 and 25th. The first year Sydney Ohr (Prospect Heights, Ill./John Hersey) was next at 43rd, followed by sophomore Kirstyn Hope Barsola (New Braunfels, Texas/Academy of the Holy Angels) and first year Scarlett Liu (Tampa, Fla./Tampa Preparatory), who ranked 48th. Junior Phebe Chen (South Barringron, Ill./Barrington) rounded out the lineup at No. 59.

Macalester closes the spring schedule on the 29th-30th. April at Willinger’s Golf Club’s St. Olaf Invite.
