Austin Texas and Michigan have mutually agreed to switch their home-and-home football series to the original agreement announced in 2014. The home team will switch seasons with the Wolverines hosting the Longhorns at Michigan Stadium on September 7. , 2024, and a return visit to Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium on September 11, 2027.
The matchup brings together the two winningest programs in NCAA history: Michigan is No. 1 all-time in wins with 989, while Texas is Fifth with 936.
The only previous meeting between the two schools was in the 2004 Rose Bowl following the 2004 season.
