LOS ANGELES – Head coachStan Johnsonhas signed Dominick Harris to play LMU men’s basketball for the 2023-24 season. Already familiar with the West Coast Conference, Harris will transfer to the LMU program as a redshirt junior at Gonzaga University after three years of eligibility.

“Coming from Southern California, LMU is home,” Harris said. “The decision was very easy for me because the support from the coaching staff was remarkable, and I feel like we’re strengthening a relationship that goes beyond basketball. They’re committed to making me a better person on and off the court. Everything about the school is beautiful and I can’t wait to get to to impact the community. LMU, get ready! Lion Nation, conquer the city and make a March Madness run!”

Harris joins the Lions after three seasons in Spokane. The Murrieta, Calif., product was a star at Rancho Christian and played in 25 games as a freshman for the Zags before an injury sidelined him for the entire 2021-22 season. Homecoming is a chance for Harris to play in front of his family and friends and reach new heights.

“Dominick’s best days as a player are ahead of him,” Johnson said. “He’s got tremendous talent. He’s a vertical, high-level athlete with a huge first step and the ability to really shoot the ball. I’m excited about the hunger that burns deep inside him to help LMU win at the highest level. He brings so much versatility to our program. Dominick doesn’t is not only a very good offensive player, but has all the tools to be an elite defender. I love his character and the family he comes from. I can’t wait to have him here.”

The Lions are coming off the program’s second top-four season in the WCC during Johnson’s three-year career.

The schedule and ticket information for the 2023-24 season will be published once completed.
