International Sunday League Cricket – Week 2 | Trickylight SportsView

This is a new women’s cricket tournament using the T20 format, with six one-day international teams playing each other twice in ten weeks. 4 points for a win and 2 points for a draw or no score. Net Run Rate determines the ranking of teams with equal points. I am using Lambourne’s Sunday League Cricket (with modifications) for this project.

Week 2

England beat South Africa by 203 and some good bowling in the last over meant that the scores ended in a tie, giving both teams 2 points.
India’s openers got them off to a flying start and with everyone involved they set a target of 232 to win. New Zealand always struggled and were bowled out for 155, giving India a 76-run victory.
Hayley Matthews and Stefanie Taylor got the West Indies off to a great start, but the rest of the line-up crumbled and managed just 180. Healey and Mooney did most of the hard work early in Australia’s reply, but it got very nervy towards the end as they reached their target by just 9 wickets.
