Will Pakistan visit India for ICC World Cup?

As the FIFA World Cup approaches, many questions and uncertainties arise regarding Pakistan’s participation in the mega event in India.

The Indian cricket board had refused to send its team to Pakistan, so the Green Shirts might not travel to the neighboring country to participate in the mega event either.

Earlier, several reports claimed that Pakistan will play against India in the World Cup at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

“Pakistan may not agree to play India at the Narendra Modi Stadium due to certain reasons,” the source said without elaborating on the matter before the official schedule was announced.

It should be noted that the International Cricket Council (ICC) has not announced the schedule of the World Cup so far. The mega-event will take place in October-November this year in India.

A reliable PCB source has also denied reports of their demand Board of Cricket in India (BCCI) to give them a written guarantee that if Pakistan goes to India for the ICC World Cup, they will come here for the ICC Champions Trophy in 2025.
