Arsenal’s title collapse linked to ‘Kardashian curse’ after Kim’s visit

Arsenal’s Premier League hopes have been playfully linked to the ‘Kardashian curse’ after the Gunners’ title challenge collapsed following Kim’s visit to the Emirates Stadium.

Manchester City were confirmed as Premier League champions for the third consecutive season on Saturday after Arsenal were beaten 1-0 away at Nottingham Forest.

City will receive the Premier League trophy after Sunday’s game against Chelsea.

Before kick-off, forward Eddie Nketiah gave Kima a shirt with “Kardashian 1” on the back and greeted his son and friends.

Arsenal’s official Instagram page shared the video and captioned it: “Eddie welcomes @KimKardashian to the Emirates Stadium.”

Arsenal had picked up wins in their next two games since Kardashian’s visit, beating both Crystal Palace and Leeds 4-1.

The Gunners then drew three in a row against Liverpool, West Ham and Southampton before surrendering the title with a 4-1 defeat at City.

After the Gunners bounced back with wins over Chelsea and Newcastle, a 3–0 loss to Brighton and a 1–0 loss against Nottingham Forest ended their title challenge.

Arsenal fans had previously called on Kardashian to stay away from matches because of the “cursing” that followed her exit from the Europa League in March.

He had also taken Saint to watch Paris Saint Germain during their trip to Europe when the French side suffered a shock home defeat to Rennes.

The “Kardashian curse” is often referred to in Hollywood circles.

However, the curse typically refers to the belief that a headline-grabbing family will “haunt” all of their ex-partners, whose lives are then thrown into disarray after parting ways with them.
